Transmission color



Mine's clearcoated, but that means to have it look good you have to bead blast the living daylights out of it to remove any hint of corrosion.
If the cast aluminum actually looks like cast aluminum then that would get my vote. Lot less work getting the case clean enough to coat.

FWIW the other night while I was cooking spaghetti on the stove I was simultaneously baking the powder coat on an engine mount in the oven.
I only mention it cause some people think I'm nuts to bake powder coat in the kitchen oven and I like to perpetuate the myth! ;^)
