Years old snake skin

Hey Dan, preserve the skin! It might be from a Sidewinder!
How appropriate :)

>Tuesday evening I had the joy of removing a bunch of parts and wiring harnesses from an 81 MK I parts car.
>The car had been sitting in a private "junk" yard for 7 or so years. Mold and mildew everywhere, raintray filled with dirt (looked top grade for planting a garden!) and best of all parts of a molted snake skin on the driver's side floor, right where I was working, of course. (Yes! I'm a sissy!)
>Nothing better than smelling years old gas while removing the CIS! Now if I'd have been thinking about it we could have also enjoyed that unique stench while removing cylinder head bolts or main bearing cap bolts! We should have removed at least one!!
>
>The good news is in a week where the temps are running over 90 degrees, it was a beautiful evening to be working outside on a car!
>And even better yet is the parts are going onto another 81 MK I. It's going to be a really great car! It's already painted and looks very nice, is going to get a complete new custom interior, has H & R coilovers, a 2.0L short block built by TT, P & P 8V head and best of all (ta-da!) it's getting final assembly by yours truly! ;^)
>
>So, another MK I restored to like new condition! It might appear in another couple weeks if I can get off my dead ass and force myself to work in this heat.
>
>BTW, it's not mine. Too bad. :^(
