Here Blackie, Blackie, Blackie...:)

Come on down to the track, Klaus will be waiting :)

Yeah, I am the happiest loser around, I lost on a 16.250s second dial, by
driving a 16.238s in the quarter mile. I am delighted!!!! This is after a
full year of assrunning, knowing the car had once done mid 16s all day
long, and had decided to do high 17s by the end of last season. It was so
depressing. So I'm happy. 2.3s 60 foot, 85.11mph trap speed. 16.3 had been
the previous best time, and I'm sure there is more room for improvement.
He's running really well.

But for a 1.8 CIS 8V, that ain't bad at all. And for once, I had to wait
for the other cars to leave the light, I was faster than about half of the
class. (which is pretty scary, since I'm really not that fast) But to was
good to get back on the strip, this was the first for me this year. It
promises to be a good season.

And the icing on the cake was a ride over the Dunnville track in a 1942
DeHavilland Tiger Moth this morning. (hot on the heels of driving Miss
Carrots a few days back for a good long stint too) I'm loving this summer
so far.
