Clean '88 on eBay

According to the basic carfax search (the free one) it is in fact a VIN from
an 88 16V. So my guess is a conversion to a 2L 8V happened. Not sure the
reason for the missing body kit and badges though. But the vin does scan as
such.
Tim, care to dig any deeper with this one?
