   my dad has an '84 carb'd rabbit that has a dying carb. he's looking
for a replacement as finding parts to rebuild the stock carb are
impossible. he bought a complete new carb from someone who said it would
  work but when it arrived it as a 2BBL zenith while the intake on the
'84 is 1BBL. just wondering if someone might have a good used/reman 1BBL
laying around from a rabbit or scirocco that might work.
   also, i'm looking to find a '77 rabbit. shell would be fine, but it
must be fairly clean with little rust. they seem to be a dime a dozen in
the PNW, but here is ohio even the saturns have rust. will travel a
small distance to pick up. not looking to spend a whole lot but will pay
as necessary. thanx.
