Holiday safety message #1:

Don't let overzealous wife drive in rain on way back from Tampa...
Especially after rotating the tires (meatier ones placed up front)...
Oh, and as she's coming up on that enterance ramp bend too quickly, be sure to get her to slow down BEFORE the turn, and not WHILE
ENTERING it...
Oh, and teach wife to countersteer in a manner that does not directly result in a Tiff Needell 'flick'.  While this method works
particularly well at inducing a 360, it is not recommended on slippery entrance ramps.

(Jetta did a reverse 360 off of the high end of the ramp, passing through a gap in the guardrail, and missing a concrete storm drain
barrier by about a foot.  The rear wheel would have caught the barrier with the Jetta sliding parallel to it while sliding down a 20
degree slope - basically a guaranteed flip.  All of this with 3 kids in back and a truck full of presents.  This happened about an
hour ago.  Everyone is fine, but I drove the rest of the way home, and Sandei spent the entire time with a death grip on the
shoulder strap.)

Oh, to add to my list of stuff to do in the new year:
- Clean 50 lbs of dirt out of Jetta teardrops, brakes and undercarriage.
- New tires on Jetta, but not before I take Sandei for a few 'tutoring' lessons in a wet vacant parking lot.
