Please understand that threads can be hi-jacked. You might have noticed one or two members that need an increase in their meds, and a few sooooo anal bout the cars, the fuss and grieve over a single digit in their cars VIN number. For the most part they (as Douglas Adams would put it) "are mostly harmless".
Is it contagious you ask? Yes. First signs are Scirocco parts on the kitchen table longer than an hour. The pic of your girl/boy friend replaced by an action pic of a Scirocco on three wheels. Fires of rage build when the passenger, inadvertantly SLAMS the door. The Playboy under the bed is replaced by the "VW guide for idiots" and/or the "bentley". You start to get arroused by the pic of the MKI in cutaway.
Are you afraid? Humm.... Should be....
