WTB: Fuel Distributor for 16V

I have an article that I reference all the time. Sport Compact Car July 1998 Volume 10, num 7. VW Guide to Engine Swaps. I don't know if you'll find it online but if I can find a scanner I'll see if I can make an Adobe thing out of it. Don't know where I'll find a scanner though and it'll not be till after the New Year. It lists a basic run down of all the motors and some differentiating details about them. For the PL motors (1.8 16V) it listed all of them together as CIS-E which I think means the K jetronic but the 9A motors (2.0 16V) all were listed together as CIS motronic. As far as I know that would lead me to think that any of the GTI, GLI, GTX, Scirocco 16V motors that were 1.8's would work with yours. Mine died in my GTX and I drove it by tying a string to the MAF plate and pulling it open to control my fuel for two weeks while I searched for another one. If you can get it shipped, here's a place that might have one and they understand the difference between a 16V GTI and an 8V. I'd still ask them if they understand though, it's been a few years since I've called them but they found me the one I put in my GTX.

Thanks for the advice on which fuel distributor I need, Cathy. I think it
may be that the distributor is just on 16v Scirocco's only - I'm not sure,
but 3 distributors that were ordered that were supposed to work on the 16v
scirocco didn't. If that's the case, my only hope is to find a used one -
the remans we ordered didn't work. We've been unable to find anything in
  eastern Canada in 3 months.

Can anyone with ETKA verify whether part nos are different for the 16v
scirocco and for other 16v fuel distributors?

If anyone on the list has a used fuel distributor they would be willing to
part ways with, they could help resurrect the red beast , , , for almost a
  year she's been unusable.
