OT: VW GTI Racing Game on STEAM

The game is made by a company called Techland, who also made Xpand rally
(and the upcoming Xpand Xtreme). Xpand rally looked really good, but
played like total crap. I was really excited about GTI racing until I
found out that it uses the same game engine that Xpand did. On one of the
rally-sim forums that I frequent (www.no-grip.net) we are working on
building our own rally sim and deciding if we should use an existing
platform or go with our own. Xpand rally came into view as the game is
fully moddable and comes with building tools. (even though most of the
tools, including the physics editor, came with no documentation and didnt
really even work) When we inquired to Techland about modifying the physics
(to be more realistic and not so "weird") they did not give us any
information.

So, I dont have anything good to say about Techland. But the models in
the game really do look pretty good.
