Whack Stanley



To my knowledge the cast ridge as a pad wear indicator was only used on early, small rotor diameter non-vented, brakes.
So, if you've got the 10.1's that shouldn't be it. Good thought though.

I'm wondering if you have a failed CV. I've seen the ball separator break, not hold the balls in the correct position and the CV becomes very notchy as it rotates. Kind of a long shot.
