Precautions transporting a Transaxle?

Just empty it first!  And constrain it somehow so it doesn't get banged
around (common sense,
that).  Also try to cushion the 5th gear end if you place it upright.
The bore holding the green
metal end cover tends to get banged a bit at the bottom.  The clutch
pushrod can slide out with no
damage, but you may want to duct tape it in place.  Otherwise...use
common sense.
