The new addition

Hi David,

They can be plenty quick, you just have to work your mechanical magic on them ;) The nice thing is all the tricks you can use to make the Scirocco fast also work on these little guys too. I definitely miss the '82 that I had. It was a lot of fun and a great performer. The driveway is full now, so I'll just have to be content with the windows in the Scirocco & Sportruck and the additional sunroof in the Passat for now.

Also, congrats to Behrle & your wife

My wife Jeannette has wanted one for years and I finally managed to find one for her! I have lost a coupla bidding wars on e-bay in my quest to find one for her and when this one showed up with an acceptable "Buy it now" price I jumped on it. I agreed to buy Dieter sight unseen so I wasn't hesitant about this transaction, especially considering the sellers' spotless record on e-bay. Now we can both make it to Cinci next year and she'll fit in! I'm planning to make her wrench on her own car which will give her an appreciation of why I love these cars so much.
