Well, my plugs are still functioning, but I sometimes get leaky...especially

  My brother transplanted an '83 1.8 into his 79 rocco and it has been
  running great
  for quite some time.
  Now, it doesn't seem to want to rev over 3k.
  He has checked for leaks, bad plugs, etc.
  Anyone have this happen to them?
