Turbo Build Advice Needed

The 60-1 is basically recommended for 450Hp applications.
The .81 housing is suitable for 5 or 6L engines.
It's basically a really high flow turbo with maximum efficiencies below 15
psi boost.

Better turbos would be big T3's, minimum 50 trim, but 60 or super 60 would
be preferable; T3/T04E 40-50 trim and maybe some T3/T04B's.
In the newer GT series, GT2554R, GT2860R & RS, GT2871R and maybe some GT30R
variants if you want high end boost at the expense of any low end power.
FWIW, Kelly in the PNW is IIRC running a GT2554R and making 277Hp on a 1.8L
20V.
I've got a GT2860RS on my 2.0L 8V with no signficant running time or
estimate of power. With the T25 .63 turbine housing the goddamned thing
seemed to be always making boost. I'm going to a .86 housing.
Kirsten has a GT 30 R hybrid and the car goes like hell, but doesn't make
full boost till 4500-5000 RPM.
My nephew is running a T3/T04E 40 trim on his 1.9L 8V and the turbo is
nicely responsive with a T3 .48 turbine housing.
TMI again!
