You may hook up as many speakers as you wish, as long as the total impedance
of the load is around what your amp has been designed for.  Most auto amps
are meant to drive a 4 ohm load.  Most auto drivers (speakers) are 4 ohms.
You could wire two 8 ohm drivers in parallel and achieve that on each side.
There are lots of series-parallel combinations that will do it....but why?
The biggest challenge is getting a small amp to move a big speaker cone in
and out to move some air to get some bass.  If you overwhelm the little guy
with an excessive amount of work, you get distorted (clipped) sound, an
overheated amp and blown speakers.

Get the biggest amp you can afford for the larger speakers.  One with a
meaty power supply.  Power it through heavy gauge wire.
