Wheel bearing?
If you had 100mm axles in your 81 then you should be able to swap.
The later hub carriers were opened out for clearance to the bigger outer CV, so unless your 81 had been upgraded the hub carriers may not work.
You're close enough to Germanautoparts, why don't you just rent the bearing installation tool?
