Shift linkage, was Re: Working in the heat!



I had a TSR shift linkage sent from the UK years back, the ends look 
nearly identical to those shown in Dons' pics.  The one thing I did to 
take care of the dust/dirt issue was use the original rubber washers VW 
installed on the linkages from the factory.  This covers the opening at 
the base so dirt is much less likely to get in there and go 
a'sanding...  (these are the rubber washers that normally come in the 
bushing rebuild kits, but you can get them individually too...
