I've bought from several places, but as for advice? I start marinating the
possible offending threaded bits as early as possible, I use Kroil on the
following: fittings on the lines to the MC, the nuts that hold it to the
booster, and the bleeders, especially the bleeders (on all four wheels).
Brake fluid will strip paint, so get some shop towels. And hit up the
dollar store for a turkey baster to suck fluid from the reservoir. I use
the old fashioned "helper" method of bleeding (being careful to have them
not pump too deeply, oooh, that sounds bad...), and I have a big clear
plastic fruit juice bottle with a hole drilled in the lid to accept a clear
hose which goes over the bleeders, and this way you can see if air is still
coming out, and if the old fluid has all passed, it's usually not as pretty
as the new stuff. Don't keep brake fluid once its open, just pitch it right
out.
Tools? Get a mini set of flat wrenches, since you may find several sizes of
bleeders if the calipers are remanned. And I was advised to get a flare nut
wrench for the fittings, it's like a box wrench with a bit missing for the
line to slip through. I was glad I got it, it's served me well.

That's it from me, the only mess I got into was on the Cabby, the bleeders
were just not co-operative, and I ended up also doing two calipers and a
carrier. You shouldn't have any such problems, the Cabby just hates me.
