To supercharge a 3A or not?

IMHO, I'd only go for the valve upgrade if you need it to rest easy at night,
i.e., it's an unnecessary expense. Also, keep in mind that the G60 uses a
hydraulic head and the eurospec is solid lifter so you should confirm the
compatibility as I don't think VW ever made sodium-filled valves for the solid
lifter application...

Should work, but I'd confirm in the F/I section of the Vortex or VWSport.

The ABA metal gasket will be fine.

Don't sell yourself short here. I specifically chose the 3A for my F/I bottom
end because of its attributes - forged crank w/ piston squirters, shorter rod
ratio (*in the face of everyone else's advice, I expect a quicker-revving motor
vs. ABA). Conversely, I'm going w/ a ported (mildly) and polished (highly) x-
flow head. Though I still haven't decided if I'm going stacked gaskets or
forged pistons....

G/L w/ it and keep us posted!
