Harness pieces (radio) needed

Nope but if you so cheap (GRIN!) to not buy the connector converter, why not
splice the wires into the radio (how I do mine since it never had the plugs
on the radio wires...) its easy enough...

Let me know if you need a diagram on what wires do what.

Subject: Harness pieces (radio) needed

I'm gonna put the radio from my 88 into the 85 for daily use and just swap
it back for shows, etc., but I'm trying not to pay $20 for another radio
harness from Kenwood (I'm cheap, I know, but I've dumped too much into this
old car already).

Does anyone have the radio connectors from a later Scirocco? These would be
the two 8 pin plugs that you would cut off the harness after you pulled the
factory radio and hard-wired an aftermarket one. One plug is brown, the
other is black. I believe 87's and later had 'em, whereas older ones used
the Blaupunkt pin/tab type connectors.

I don't car if the wires are cut flush with the back of the plugs, as long
as the connectors are there.

Thanks for checking.
Jim
