RITA

I've been trying to convince them to leave, but they aren't going to budge at this point. These in-laws of mine turn into a heard of sheep whenever an important decision needs to be made. A few are convinced they need to stay to protect their houses and they are basically all convinced, despite what officials are telling everyone, that they can not get out of Houston at this point. Somehow the heard feels that if they stay together they will be OK. Whatever. You would think that having to leave Vietnam after the war would have taught them that sometime a house isn't the most important thing in the world. Very frustrating.

Now we are down to just praying for their safety and for higher air pressures.

Tyler is more of a zoo, and my house is in total chaos, but we can handle that. My niece and nefew are 1 and 2. The 2 year old hasn't learned to say a single word. Why would he? He just yells and instantly gets whatever he wants. Very insecure, too. Sorry for the 3- hours-of-sleep and lots of stress rant.

PS: 1966 C-55 Baron F/S. All Garmin IFR, Weather Data link, Traffic avoidance, 970SMOH, 5700TT. Very nice and clean. Pics on request. Addison, TX. I expect the price to be VERY reasonable.
