more clutch crap



Yes the spring is wrapped arond the shaft and provides some resistance but 
not much. If the finger is not broken then it probably punched a hole in the 
release plate that pushes on the clutch. In that case the release bearing 
will be stuck donwn the tube from the finger but you will see that when you 
pull the green cover.
