Parking Brake (discs) Survey

I always use mine when parking. When I first got the car (8-9 years ago) it
would freeze sometimes in the dead of winter, but that hasn't happened in at
least 7 years.

A couple of times I used it while moving. I made a promise to Mr. Bubb (as
well as myself, my wife, and my friend who was with me at the time "We just
did a 180!") that I won't do that again. Anyone remember my custom body work
involving a large rock? D'oh!

But, it works great whilst sitting. In fact, I've discovered that if it's
engaged, the car won't move. That's how good it is. The handle only goes up
about 4 or 5 clicks before it's set like the dickens.

On a side note, I NEVER!!!!!! park it in gear and hate it when, on the
EXTREMELY rare occasions when I let someone else drive it (like once/year,
IF that) they leave it that way. Nothing sucks like getting in, turning the
key and having it jump whilst not starting. Grrr...
