Shocks and Struts



Years back on my first GTI, I put two sets of struts on the front (KYBs).
Honestly, I cannot remember which model they were, but neither set lasted
longer than 30K.  I was really made the second time around, that was about a
year and a half later.  We do have rough roads around here, but I don't
think that was the reason...

Me?  I don't like KYBs.  Those folks I have spoken to about them on the A1
have echoed my experience.  You might fare better, I dunno...
