Speed is off now

Anybody have any thoughts on this? Just drove the car for a bit and,
judging by traffic flow, I'd say the speedo is off by about 12-13 percent.

I did have a difficult time getting the speedo cable into the tran after I
put everything together. I had a new plastic gasket, which fit the hole in
the trans and the cable end, but wouldn't allow the cable to fit once the
gasket was on the end...I ended up leaving it out, since my cable has that
rubber bushing-into-metal-cup setup and fit much better without, so the
cable sits 2 or 4 mm deeper in the trans now.

I checked and found that the red gear is the correct one.

The speedo may have been off before I did this work, though....I don't know.
