A2 Hubs wont fit an A1 chassis, right?

Everything you speak of in terms of brakes is universal between chassis
except for the spindle. If you would be swapping 10" brakes though, all your after
is the carriers, and calipers (along with the rest of the nessacery parts for
a larger brake swap) Your parts car would (should) actually be able to still
roll. You won't have to remove any axles or anything like that. If you put
wheels back on it and want to roll it, throw some junker rotors on there to
take up space, you'll see why if you don't. No need to worry, as the parts
(even the master cylinder) are the same exact parts you would find on any Scirocco
16V. The same goes for the rear disc brakes, they're all the same setup from
the spindles outward to the wheel, even on Passat's, G60 Corrado's, mk3
Jetta's etc...

None of your suspension, front spindles, axle shafts, or anything like that
is interchangeable though. And I'm sure you already know that they share other
stuff, like interior goodies, engine parts, fuel parts, so on and so forth.

Good luck with your brake swap.
