OT: Haygood Baby Pictures

Congrats...
Found out my little one on the way is a girl the other day. I am seriously
outnumbered. Two female gatos, two wee chiclets and a wife...
I swear to GOD I am going to buy a (male) dog to even things up a little.
I did get out of a ticket once in Chicago once based SOLELY on the fact
that my first kid was a boy. Awesome story... false labor... first kid for
both of us, she's wailing like a siren in the passenger seat. I put the
emergency flashers on and start blink the highbeams. This was like 3am in
North Chicago. I stop for a red light getting on the highway and there's
nothing coming either way. This thing takes like 10 minutes to change, the
ex digs her claws into my arm and I said screw it. Ran the red and started
going as fast as this old Oldsmobile would go. (about 78mph) Flashers and
high beams blinking the whole way. I get to ER entrance, hop out and I hear
FREEEZE!!!
I put my hands up, look back and there's a cop, gun drawn, the whole 9
yards. I explained that I had a pregnant woman in labor in the car and he
told me to get her checked in and get back out there before he had that
peice of junk towed. He saw me run the red and followed me the whole way
lights off.
I am thinking that I am going to jail...
I come back out and he has like 8 tickets written out already. "You broke
this law at LEAST four times, and this one twice..." Then he reads me the
RIOT ACT about what would have happened if someone had come through that
intersection when I ran the red and what would have happened if I lost it at
70+ with my wife 9 mos pregnant.
Then he stops and asks me, so do you know what it is yet? I said "Yes
Sir... It's a boy."
He cracks this big grin, and says; "Outstanding. There's already too many
(explitive) pain in the ass women in the world." And ripped up all the
tickets.

Build a man a fire and keep him warm for an evening...
Set him on fire, and keep him warm for the rest of his life.

A pair of powerful spectacles has sometimes sufficed to cure a person in
love.
Friedrich Nietzsche

Wherever they burn books they will also, in the end, burn human beings.
