Injector questions(NOT A DEBATE!!!!) Nothing to do with size!lol



So I since I'm using the "shorty" injector seats, I should be good with the
cheap injectors listed for 76-84???(cheap is good, lol)

I think you're right Jeff...

To add - the air shrouded injectors have another o-ring near the
bottom mounted in a metal cap.  This o-ring seals the injector to the
plastic tubey insert/seat dealie.  I, for one, think the air shrouded
injectors are a pita...  I've seen them practically glued to the
plastic tube, the ends not coming out with injector (and possibly
falling behind the intake valve), and being a general pita to
remove...

On my ABA/JH project I used the "shorty" brass injector seats, with
new non-airshrouded CIS injectors.  I epoxied the air shroud port
closed to prevent any leaks.  I have also used RTV silicone jammed
into the port, and that held up (although epoxy might be more reliable
here)...  If your JH head is an 84 it's most likely an air-shrouded
head...
