Synchronicity sucks

Well, if I have a clue at all you have an 02J tranny with cable shift.
On the tranny end the cables terminate in rod ends. The end of the cable
itself looks like it's threaded but it's actually just serated. On the rod
end there is a sleeve that is spring loaded towards the end of the rod end.
If you pull this sleeve into the spring the female part of the rod end will
expand and can be moved in and out on the cable.
So, it's a fairly simple matter to determine which cable does the lateral
movement and which does the fore-aft.
Then just move the sleeve and move the cable in or out a few serations.
Easier to just try one direction than to try and noodle out which way to
move it.
Just make sure you mark the current position before you start ;^)
Make any sense?
Dan
PS, I'm with you on the synchronicity!
