Exporting a car

The two guys I know both ship from Long Beach.  Late model used
Mercedes to Stockholm and repaired salvage title Camrys and Hondas to
El Salvador.  Since it's always multiple cars in both cases, maybe a
container makes economic sense for them.

My bad RO/RO experience was between Bremerhaven and Newark.  I'd
stripped out the stereo (on good advice of others) and lost only the
jack, tool kit and an empty gas can, so no big deal.  They did leave
me the spare.

I think you can also get a 20 ft. container.  If it was me shipping a
Lotus, you can bet it would be in a locked box.
