Feeler: Might be Parting out -Now Kit Cars

If you are looking at kit cars, you might also consider

http://www.sakermotorsports.com/

It is an australian car that a friend of mine is involved with importing and
selling here in the US. They may also have importers in the UK.

The basic drivetrain is a mid-engine WRX powerplant, but there are other
options available as well.

All I can say is it's scary looking at their "accessories" page.
It's a good indication of what you don't get in the basic kit.
For me it'd be a couple of years of work to make a real car out of it, but
I'm sure fast as hell with the engine choice you've made.

FYI, McLaren used a couple of Ultimas as hacks in the development of the
McLaren F1 as described in the book "Driving Ambition."
Super fast, I'm sure. I don't think I kid myself if I pulled up next to an
F1 though.
Good luck with your plans. No matter what, I'm sure it will be one hell of a
lot of fun.
Dan
