Tearing out the 1.8l !!



I have heard (therefore no firsthand experience) that the aluminum
intake, along with the valve cover can be painted with the Cold
galvanized paint.  The results are allegedly durable and look good.
Again, I have not tried this so maybe someone with some experience with
this technique will comment.

Clean it as best you can and then spray it with Rustoleum or other good
grade aluminum paint. 
Looks great, and if well applied lasts a long time and can be touched
up!
