Re: [SPAM] 16v Race Header and stock Sway bar

Interesting. I had my car for almost 2 years now before I realized it
didn't even have the front sway bar. Granted that it has H&R
coilovers and the car has been balanced along with the rear being
reinforced with a stiffener bar and along with the front and rear (3
point) has upper strut supports. I have pushed it very hard in all
conditions and not experienced the things you mention. It handles
very well. Maybe the H&R Coilovers due a good job of compensating for
the front sway bar missing. It handles very predictably. It does
corner very well and the rear follows much more than my other scirocco
with H&R coilovers and front sway bar (no rear 3 point support). I
have not had the rear come around in front of me but I can tell you it
has more oversteer than normal which I actually prefer as opposed to
understeer. Thanks for the warnings.

Dan, I can only agree this should not be recommended for everyone nor for a
daily driver, and in rain, it is skittish on the rear I will admit, but I
have practiced a lot, and I don't "race" my car around corners.

But its fun :)
