Huh huh huh huh... You said laid!!

Cathy, make no doubt about it, that was NOT Ben's mk1 you saw! That is just
a mock up to fool you into thinking it was put away. Ben's Mk1 is deep in
sub-level 3 of his underground Labyrinth where Ben's army of old school
Oompa Loompas is busy at work on his latest series of mods. Said Labyrinth
puts the design and testing facility at McLaren-Mercedes to SHAME!

I consume, not build! My cars are lucky if I even maintain them! On Friday
night I drove up near NYC (~100 mi) and 1/2 way there my rear wheel bearing
decided to start screaming like a banshee. Drove the remaining 50 miles,
drank my face off like a good little boy, and then in the morning tried a
game of "find an auto parts store on north jersey on x-mas eve". Mind you, I
did not know where to find a store, let alone one that was open! I was lucky
and got all I needed between two parts stores, replaced the bearing in a
friend's driveway, drove home, and have been fine since.
