OT: My sister bought her first car - a 98 passat

That's the last year of the b4's, right? I assume it;s the vr6. Automatic or 
5 speed? I understand that the auto's are kinda iffy, if they haven't been 
serviced appropriately. Hopefully with a FSH that won't be the case (if it's 
an auto)
