I have been robbed...AGAIN!!!!!!

Oh my God man... That is so jacked up.
I have a couple suggestions for you... Some I am sure you probably know and
have tried but here goes... Don't know the situation but ideally if you
could get it off the street that would be ideal. This is someone that knows
you or lives very close by and sees you daily. If you don't have access to a
garage I would at least park it in the back yard if that is possible.
Alarm? If you don't have one I would definately get one. A good one too.
(two-way pager style... something on the keyring that goes apeshit when
someone bumps the thing.)
A camera. If you park right in front of your residence I would try to put
in the foot print of street light or flood light. Get a cheapo webcam or
something and position it in the window. If you have a digital camcorder
with some kind of zoom and/low-light with a firewire link that would be
ideal. Some of the better webcams have a delayed action on them... one image
every second or so instead of 30 images a second.
Another suggestion... take all of your stuff out of it for a while. I am
convinced that this was done by the same person and it may very well be a
grudge motivated thing and nothing to do with what's in the car.
Also I am not trying to scare you but honestly if this person is brave
enough to hit your car twice, then I wouldn't doubt he is eyeballing your
house too. I would get a weapon. I would never suggest that you do anything
illegal so please don't get in trouble, but I can tell you that if I was in
your situation I would camp out a wait for the SOB. I have an AR-15 and I am
a very very light sleeper. I have one magazine half full of blanks and the
rest are jacketed hollowpoints. If I don't scare the bejesus out of them
with the first 15 rounds, he probably has made his mind up to do me or my
family bodily harm, so I will worry about the law later. Just my humble
opinion.
Me personally I don't have more than a few hundred dollars worth of
equipment in my car at any given time. The Kenwood head unit (fairly cheap)
is adapted for auxillery input, and that is what I hook the ipod up to. The
ipod comes out even if I go into a 7-11 for two minutes. Also I rotate my
VW's in the garages--one of my neighbors admitted he believed that there was
two families and/or a few bachelors that lived here because he very rarely
saw the same car twice. I can ask here local--about the stuff you need, I
know someone that just threw a complete hatcha away. I myself just got rid
of a marginally rusted hatch, as I didn't want to mess with sanding/painting
it. (metal frame only)
I hope that this all works out for you. I told my wife about this and she
suggested that you move but I don't think that is the right thing to do. I
would stay where I was and make sure the police get this guy so he doesn't
get anyone else.
 Good luck man.
