Relayed the lights today

I rewired my lights today using relays, relay sockets and power cable
with an in-line fuse. The power cable was an on-line 'clearance' item I
mentioned a few weeks ago. This 99 cent cable had a large lug on one
end, fuse holder, 30 amp fuse and 12' of 12 gauge conductor.
The 'tip' I want to pass along may be common knowledge however; I am
sending it along just the same. You can use your stock female plug when
converting from sealed beams to H4 by simply sliding out the spade plugs
and sliding them in the new location for H4. The spades have a small
catch that needs to be depressed to slide the spade out.

Finally, 100W/90W sure lights up the country roads!

Rick.

Oh, one more thing. I now have a pair of Hella SEALED BEAMS. Not H4,
H1, these are plain old used sealed beams and only the low/high, outer
set. If anyone wants them I will be glad to send them off for the cost
of shipping (and packing so they don't' break). I don't know if Hella
was the stock supplier so if you are trying to get the original look,
this will fit the bill.
