Engine codes.

audi 80, 1989 through 91, 2L 8v Block = 3a (audi only 3a blocks in 4 
cylinders anyways)
right side of engine over piston # 4 you will find the code, other 
visual are look on the exhaust side of the engine (near the firewall) 
and you will find the block has `lumps`  one of the reason why it is 
called the bubble block.
