No Cincy for me.

A few days back I had finally decided I would skip this year and uphold the
tradition of every other year, so I could take a year and make my GT what I
wanted it to be. Well, yesterday that decision was ratified by karma.

Amd I quote from my LJ on this one.

"Here I am, turning onto M-59, going down to the last corner to get to work.
Up behind me comes this woman in a Grand Am, and she starts riding my
bumper - and I mean riding. I was waiting for her to actually bump me, but
she never did, even when I sloooooowed down from 35 to around 20. I sped
back up, and she was right back on me. WTF. I figure I'll lose her when I
turn into the - WTF!? - she wheels around me, gets in front of me, using the
turning lane to do so(illegally too)... so I slide in behind her, and on
goes her brakes abruptly. In my stupidity, I was creeping up to her bumper
in return. Light turns green and the turn starts. We're all bunched in, I'm
following a tad close, though nothing serious I thought. Brake lights. BAM.
She hits her brakes, and I end up with a shoved-in front end, broken
headlight, ruined hood from the aprts car(GRR!), no power steering. She
calls the cops, deputy sherriff comes, I get the ticket, no insurance claim
to make 'cause her bumper was already screwed up, and I'm left feeling...
ugh.

I hate people. I shoulda hit MY brakes and made HER go into my trailer
hitch. HAH, who's laughin' now. *Bitterly* Not me."

So yeah, now the GT sits needing facial surgery, and I'm left feeling pretty
bummed out. Now I really wish I had the money I had had a month or so
back... 'cause I know of a little 'Roc down a few hours from me I REALLY
wish I could get. *Sigh*
