Queen of piddly stuff

Looks that way. There isn't alot of room in there to do anything. But I've seen the W8 enging bay, damn, you couldn't find a spot that a credit card would fit into.

Dunno. However, every other time you are in there (the headlight slides out to the front), you will have to replace a plastic bracket that locks in the headlight. If the car was made before 2001, you will have to replace the right side bucket behind the headlight assembly as the brakcet changes such that you have to install the newer bracket for the two to work together... 7.00 bulb, but now you need nearly 100.00 to make it work at all... :-(

David <-- Happy he drives an '83 GTI

I just had the windshield re-reiinstalled, as the bodyman that repaired the rust (cause of a leak) around the windshield did not do what he said he would do, which was fix it! It should not leak for a good while now, and now I can reinstall the jute and carpet since it will no longer get wet. I can finish my dynamat install, and then I can begin to look at reinstalling the headliner. I might have a quiet car again! Full interior, along with dynamat and the foil-backed jute too? I hope it is worth the trouble.
