I don't know what to put in there... I'd like to stay n/a, but I may go
the supercharger route (Rotrex makes a killer centrifugal supercharger
that's about as close to a turbo's efficiency as I've seen - but it's
uber pricey). I just don't like the characteristics of a turbo for a
track car. Even though superchargers aren't as efficient at producing
big horsepower numbers, I think the linear power delivery, and minimal
lag, is more suited for autocross where you're on and off the throttle
alot...

We'll see, I haven't really thought about it much yet. It might end up
being whatever I end up getting a good deal on. I'm going to resist the
16v route though - I dunno, I've never owned one in all my years of
owning these cars... I am just a 8v caveman, your extra 8 valves scare
me... :)

Either way, I'm sure my choice will put me in a class that I won't be
competitive in. For this upcoming year I don't really care though - I
just want to have fun and learn what I can car control-wise... The next
season I can take what I've learned and concentrate on building a car to
a particular class and concentrate on doing well.

Later,

Mark.
