Performance VW

While browsing some magazines at a local news stand, I read this title on a
featured 1.8T Scirocco:

"Scirocco owners generaly have bad taste, are stuck in the '80s, and sport
dodgy haircuts"
Page 70, UK's Performance VW magazine

Sheesh, I did not buy the rag. 11 bucks plus taxe on top of that...

I guess this is British humour.

Any bloke out there seen this?

Oh and speaking of bad taste, that Scirocco had chrome side view mirrors,
just like these '60s style fender mount mirrors:

Oh well, but it had a 1.8T motor in it. :-P
