Could I hack these up?

Beautiful pair of recaro's from a raddo, too bad they are electric.  Could I 
take the electric part of it out and use regular stuff or do i need to do 
some welding to get these in there to fit?
I don't need the extra weight of the motors and stuff and don't want to run 
unneccessary wiring to the seats.
