Wahooooooo!  Passed my smog test today on the Scirocco.  Had to go to a test
only station.  Passed with plenty of room to spare.

Did all the tuning yesterday.  The old CIS is so easy to tweak.  Took the
long way to make sure the engine was up to temp.  I had the tech do a
pre-check because this was the first time on the rollers.  It was worth my
peace of mind.  Tests are sure getting expensive.  $50 for the pre-check,
another $80 for the regular check and over $8 for the certificate.  What
ever happened to the $26.99 pass or don't pay?  Oh well, I'm happy (at least
for another 2 years).

Now for some real tuning. :-)
