Yes, I meant it as a compliment, buddy...  :)

The traditional knock on forged is that you'll have increased oil 
consumption because they can't, or at least used to not be, able to make 
them as precise as cast. (Dan Bubb mentioned a few months back that 
forged pistons have closed the gap, so to speak, making them less 
unattractive to the normal street modder guy...)

Have you been able to find Mahle's in stock anywhere? People (like TT) 
say they offer them, but they never seem to have them in stock and don't 
know when they're going to get more...If you happen to be lucky enough 
to find a cast set of 83 or 83.5 pistons available, I'd grab them (that 
is, if you're still planning on having a nice 2L16v N/A thumper. If 
you're going forced induction, go forged by all means).
