Seen on eBay/ Now My Target Experience/golf tee stops mk1

after driving to norman this afternoon (about 20 mi.),
turning off, turning back on, turning off, turning
back on the engine, i drove back to midwest city.
there the engine would not start. it turned over,
caught barely, then died. i removed a plug cable to
see if it was a fuel or a spark problem. my friend
(who knows squat about cars, btw) turns the key, and
the engine starts.. on only cyl. 1 through 3, since
No. 4 cable was sparking uselessly against the
cylinder head. why did it start with an automotive
dunce behind the wheel??? apparently, just before i
pulled the plug cable, i decided to remove the golf
tee that was plugging the vacuum line which had
previously connected to my heater controls. i have no
idea how that has anything to do with the engine
starting, but it idles 200 rpm faster. i'm going to
re-ajust the timing.
