master cylinder question

Looks like my master cyl went out today. No brake pressure. I searched
all the lines for any possible leaks, 
but I don't see any. I have 140k on my car, so I guess it was about time
?   

A few weeks ago the pedal started getting soft and I had to start pumping
to get pressure.
Im just glad it died in the yard.

Anyone else have them go out before or around 140k ?

Anyway, I have to find a new or rebuilt one. 
What's a good source/price for one ?
