Nah, I just get the impression that I may be getting deleted on occasion 
becuase I tend to ramble. I recognize that I'm often off topic.

Anyway, I just did a bit of custom fitting with the 6 3/4 " hose, we'll see 
if it holds, looks promising after one failure (leak) when I lowered the 
car, I had, if you can believe it, a defective clamp. I just seem to win 
every time eh? Anyway, I have the metal "in between " pipe ready to go, but 
so far it may not be needed. I did look under the MkI, the neck is quite 
different, and I'm now confident that my MkII one is in fact intact. So I 
need to get brave, put $400 of premium in there, and drive it hard to see if 
it holds. Hope so. I'm also pretty certain it was rad hose I took off.
