I suppose as long as the situation is resolved (antivirus eradicates 
nasty code) the there is no need to 'out' the offending system's oowner.

otoh- if said end user is forthcoming we won't attack the guy (gal?).

  I'd want to assure everybody; if you have some thing like this going 
on (and esp if it is affecting other list members), a shout out to the 
folks around here will get you more than enough assistance- off list as 
it diverges from list topics, to resolve the trouble.
