Cincy confessions



It's been too long and I need to confess something.

The 3A will still be inside a machine shop awaiting pistons @ this rate so
I will be bringing the 1.8L hopefully w/ the newly rebuilt 9A and some
extra spaz modifications (T.B.A.).

Spaz modification #1: Wheel Pimpage

Yep, and you thought it was just the fever dream of a deluded bumpkin,
but I have started to "reclaim" the 7 spoke wheels I got from yon favorite
boneyard.

I'm kidding, there'll be no movie).

Pics newrim 8,9, and 10 are somewhat the look I was aiming for but the
flaking and curbage problems nixxed that quick.

Other than that, I still have to drop the bearing races for the new tranny
bearings and get a measurement for the S1 and S3 shims (Did I mention that
I scored a load of shims and selective circlips from a 'texxer for a
reasonable expenditure? All different gauges.) and slap it back together,
install the performance cam (namely a Crane Cams 764-0012B) and mod a
timing belt cover to install w/ the G60 valve cover and gasket, and a few
more of those spaz modifications to keep it rice. ;^}

I really need to add about 20-30mph to my top end.

Anybody got some stickers for sale?
